Overview
The Banu Merchantman is a large ship in Star Citizen, still in concept and not yet flyable in the game. Its role is heavy freight. It takes a crew of 4 to 8 and carries 2,880 SCU of cargo. The Merchantman is 160 m long and 65 m tall and weighs 9,635,000 kg. It comes with a bed to log out in, a walkable interior, a vehicle bay, a quantum drive, a jump drive and a cargo grid. It costs $650 on the RSI pledge store and can't be bought with aUEC in-game yet.
Banu traders are renowned for their merchant prowess, traveling the spacelanes and trading with everyone from humans to the Vanduul! Their sturdy, dedicated trading ships are prized beyond all other transports, sometimes passing from generation to generation of Banu.
