Overview
The Roberts Space Industries Perseus is a large ship in Star Citizen that is flight ready in the current game build. Its role is heavy gunship. It takes a crew of 6 and carries 96 SCU of cargo. Its SCM speed is 150 m/s with a top speed of 1,050 m/s, close to the 166 m/s average for large ships. The Perseus is 100 m long and 25 m tall and weighs 4,037,000 kg. It comes with a bed to log out in, a walkable interior, a vehicle bay, a quantum drive, a jump drive and a cargo grid. It costs $800 on the RSI pledge store and can't be bought with aUEC in-game yet.
When RSI set out to make the definitive modern solution for civilian and paramilitary operations, it looked to its historic Perseus gunship. Capable of destroying sub-capital goliaths and simultaneously engaging multiple threats, its presence in any blockade or patrol squad is enough to make aggressors think twice before engaging, just like its legendary predecessors.
