Overview
The Esperia Talon is a small ship in Star Citizen that is flight ready in the current game build. Its role is light fighter. It is flown by a single pilot and has no cargo hold. Its SCM speed is 225 m/s with a top speed of 1,190 m/s, close to the 223 m/s average for small ships. The Talon is 24 m long and 8 m tall and weighs 46,242.06 kg. It comes with a walkable interior, a quantum drive and a jump drive. You can buy it in-game for 1,854,500 aUEC or pledge for it on the RSI store for $115.
This ship is a recreation of the Tevarin Talon by Esperia. The Talon is the Tevarin equivalent to the Aegis Gladius or Vanduul Blade; a single-seat combat ship. The Talon is the perfect example of the Tevarin way of building a spaceship: maneuverable with powerful, directional 'Phalanx' shields but weak physical armour, as the Tevarin way of war was to strike first and strike hard, before using their Phalanx shields to cover their escape.
